Choose Crumblelead if you run a perm-focused small agency and want published pricing, AI on every seat and month-to-month terms at $30 per user. Choose JobAdder when SEEK job advertising, a large partner ecosystem or temp compliance tooling is central to your business, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.
JobAdder is an established ATS and CRM for recruitment agencies. It is headquartered in Sydney and describes itself as a subsidiary of SEEK Group. It is strongest in Australia and New Zealand and is also established in the UK. A small agency should judge it on the plan its headcount would actually buy, not on the full platform shown in a demonstration. Our guide to JobAdder alternatives covers the wider shortlist.
What do the two products offer?
Checked 15 October 2026. Crumblelead prices are USD per user per month. JobAdder does not publish prices, so its column shows plan structure and published inclusions rather than a price.

How much does JobAdder cost?
JobAdder's pricing page asks you to contact sales, so every figure here is an estimate, not a price. The most useful data points come from users. In a February 2026 Reddit thread, one UK user confirmed paying £85 per user per month for JobAdder, and a reply described paying about £108. Several 2026 pricing articles repeat a figure of €124 per user per month on Essential with a €550 implementation fee, but the original source can no longer be traced.
Broader estimates sit around US$100 to US$200 per user per month (ITQlick, February 2026) or US$95 to US$160+ from Lite to Essential (AvaHR, June 2026). Treat these as a starting point for negotiation, then ask for a written quote that names the plan, the contract length and any implementation or add-on fees.
Crumblelead publishes one price: $30 per user per month, or $25 on annual billing. Five recruiters pay $1,800 over twelve months on monthly billing, or $1,500 annually. For a fair comparison, put JobAdder's quote and ours side by side using the same headcount and term. Our JobAdder pricing guide sets out every estimate, and our ATS pricing guide lists the questions to ask.
How does JobAdder's plan structure work?
JobAdder assigns the plan by team size rather than letting you pick. An agency with one to five users is on Recruiter Lite. Lite includes job board posting, a careers page and application form, email sync, temp and contractor management, candidate care reminders and a report library. JobAdder lists AI features, API access and phone support from Essential, which starts at six users; Lite has ticket-only support.
Paid add-ons are available on any tier, including SSO, API with sandbox, Broadbean, Smart Forms and a Hiring Manager Portal. If any of those matter to your desk, include them in the quote.
Where is JobAdder the better choice?
JobAdder is the stronger option for agencies in Australia and New Zealand that rely on SEEK. Its native SEEK integration is valued by users, and SEEK's 2026 annual report says it has begun integrating JobAdder into the business. Crumblelead has no job board multiposting at all, so an agency that advertises heavily should weigh that early.
It also suits agencies of roughly six to fifty consultants who want a mature, broad platform. JobAdder claims 100+ integration partners (its directory lists about 164), plus workflow automations, dashboards and, on Pro, a sandbox and dedicated success manager. Temp and contract agencies get compliance tracking, document expiry and onboarding forms, with payroll and timesheets through established partners such as Astute and Timesheet Portal.
Finally, JobAdder holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and offers penetration test summaries on request. If your procurement process requires a certified vendor, that settles the question today: Crumblelead does not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet.
Where is Crumblelead the better choice?
Crumblelead fits the independent or small perm agency that wants the whole desk linked, with every feature from the first seat. Candidates, clients, contacts, jobs and placements connect in one workspace, with fees and fall-offs tracked against placements.
The terms are simple: $30 per user per month, no seat minimum, pro-rata changes and cancellation without a fee. A one-to-five person team gets the same AI, the same assistant and the same support as a larger one, rather than a plan with fewer features because of its size. The 14-day trial includes everything and needs no card.
How do AI and assistant connections compare?
JobAdder launched Adder Intelligence in November 2025 with Smart Summary and Smart Sync, and has since added Smart Job Descriptions, Smart Floats and Smart Skills. It runs on Amazon Bedrock with zero data retention. These features require Essential or higher.
Crumblelead's matching explains fit and concerns against the job, and Crumble AI answers questions about your candidates, jobs and clients. For external assistants, Crumblelead has a built-in MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients. We found no official JobAdder MCP server; Apideck offers a third-party beta connector covering jobs and applicants, which needs its own security review.
What should you know about moving from JobAdder?
JobAdder's FAQ says it deletes account data 90 days after termination, that you can request a backup before then, and that backups are deleted two weeks after they are generated. The full backup comes through support rather than a self-serve download, so request it while your account is still live and check it arrived complete.
Our guide to getting your data out of JobAdder sets out what is documented and what to ask support.
Crumblelead migrates from JobAdder free on any paid plan, using the official API where supported, otherwise an export. Candidates and CVs, client and contact links, jobs and stages, notes, owners, placements and attachments move across, with a sandbox dry run for review. It typically takes about a week. Check your JobAdder contract end date before you plan the cutover, and see how to switch ATS without losing data for a step-by-step plan.
Where Crumblelead fits
We built Crumblelead for perm-focused independent and small-to-mid agencies that want a fast workspace for the whole desk, with AI reducing administration while recruiters keep the relationships and decisions.
We are not built for temp or contract back offices, and we do not post to job boards. JobAdder is the stronger choice when SEEK, multiposting, temp compliance or a certified vendor is essential. See all our ATS comparisons for other options.
FAQ
Is JobAdder ISO 27001 certified?
Yes. JobAdder's trust centre says it holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, with a certificate issued in June 2025. Penetration test summaries are available on request.
