Small agencies considering Recruiterflow alternatives should compare Recruit CRM, Loxo, Crelate, Zoho Recruit, Manatal and Crumblelead against the Recruiterflow plan they actually use. Switching makes sense when a replacement covers your desk at a lower or more predictable cost; staying is sensible when multichannel sequences, sales automation and AIRA's agents drive your outbound work.
Recruiterflow is well liked, with third-party snapshots from August 2026 putting it at 4.6 out of 5 on G2 and 4.7 on Capterra, so looking elsewhere is rarely about quality. More often the trigger is cost or fit: a perm desk that does little outbound, a per-seat bill that grows with headcount, or an AI tier priced only after a sales call. Our Crumblelead vs Recruiterflow comparison covers the head-to-head.
Why do small agencies look at Recruiterflow alternatives?
Cost is the most common reason. Platform costs $119 per user per month annually or $149 monthly, and the AIRA tier, which carries most of the AI agents, is priced on request; Recruiterflow's own blog puts it at $150 to $300 per user. Reviewers note that the AI tier's price is only visible after a sales call, and that per-seat cost grows with headcount.
Product fit is the second. Reviewers mention reporting that sometimes needs exporting to Excel, bulk actions and imports that feel cumbersome, and contract signing that sits outside the platform. Mobile access is a progressive web app covering candidates and contacts only. Its MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT is read-only. The same reviewers praise its support, onboarding and ease of use, so treat these as questions for a renewal conversation.
What does Recruiterflow cost now?
Recruiterflow publishes Platform at $149 per user per month on monthly billing or $119 annually, with no add-ons. AIRA is custom-priced and, according to a third party, annual only. Self-serve import is free; white-glove migration is paid, priced by data volume, and typically takes six to eight weeks. Contract terms and seat minimums are not published, so confirm them in the demo.
Six alternatives and the trade-offs
Prices checked 15 October 2026, in USD per user per month; annual figures are monthly equivalents and exclude tax. This is a shortlist by use case, not a ranking.
| Alternative | Published entry price | Where it can be stronger for a small agency | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recruit CRM | $95 annually; $109 monthly | Timesheets, invoicing, outreach and highly rated support | Pro limits; credits; MCP from Business |
| Loxo | From $149, annual and paid up front | Sourcing graph, contact data and AI agents | No monthly billing; plan for MCP unclear |
| Crelate | Essentials $85 annually (2 users); Business $119 | Client portals, US compliance reporting, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 | Sequences and MCP on custom-priced plans; US hosting |
| Zoho Recruit | $25 annually; $30 monthly | Deep customisation, 75+ job boards, EU hosting, free official MCP | AI and semantic search from Professional; metered add-ons |
| Manatal | $15 annually; $19 monthly | Lowest cost; AI scoring, sourcing extension and job posting on every plan | 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates on Professional; MCP on Enterprise Plus; US hosting |
| Crumblelead | $30 monthly; $25 annual equivalent | Linked perm desk with AI and MCP on every seat, monthly terms | No job board posting or timesheets; no SOC 2 yet |
Recruit CRM if you want an agency CRM with strong support
Recruit CRM publishes Pro at $95 per user per month annually or $109 monthly, with timesheets, invoicing, a named account manager and a support score of 5.0 on GetApp. Pro is limited to one pipeline, 15 custom fields and one mailbox, and usage-based features such as multiposting and enrichment draw on credits. MCP and the open API start at Business ($135). Its self-serve full export includes attachments, but data is hosted in the US and kept only 14 days after termination. See our Recruit CRM pricing guide.
Loxo if sourcing data and AI agents matter most
Loxo Core starts at $149 per user per month, annual and paid up front, as a new-customer offer, and Professional at about $199 adds an 850-million-profile sourcing graph with contact details and AI agents. Its MCP server offers about 180 actions, though its pages disagree on which plan includes it. See our Loxo pricing guide.
Crelate if you need client portals and audited security
Crelate Business costs $119 per user per month on annual or monthly billing and includes the AI Assistant, client and team portals, job posting and reports; Essentials, at $85 annually, is capped at two users. Crelate holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and its self-serve database export includes attachments. Sequences, the full API and MCP need custom-priced Business Plus or Platform, and data is transferred to the US.
Zoho Recruit if you want structure at a low price
Zoho Recruit's Staffing Agency edition starts at $25 per recruiter per month annually or $30 monthly, with 100 active jobs on Standard, no forced contracts and a 45-day money-back guarantee. It posts to more than 75 job boards, has native mobile apps, offers data centres in several regions including the EU, and has an official MCP server that reads and writes at no extra cost. Semantic search and most AI features start at Professional ($50), and onboarding help is a paid Jumpstart package from $1,000.
Manatal if cost is the main issue
Manatal's Professional plan costs $15 per user per month annually or $19 monthly, with AI recommendations and scoring, a sourcing Chrome extension, enrichment and job board posting on every plan, and unlimited free hiring managers. Professional is capped at 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates, so many agencies need Enterprise at $35. MCP, the API and SSO sit on Enterprise Plus at $55. Manatal holds SOC 2 Type II, stores data in the US and offers a progressive web app rather than native apps.
Crumblelead if your agency mainly runs perm desks
Our plan costs $30 per user per month, or $25 billed annually, with no seat minimum, no add-ons and cancellation without a fee. AI matching with evidence, semantic search, Crumble AI and a built-in MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT that can make supported changes are on every seat from one user. Migration from Recruiterflow is free on any paid plan and typically takes about a week.
We are not the right alternative if multichannel sequences, sales automation or an AI agent suite are central to your outbound work. We do not offer those, and we do not have SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet.
When staying with Recruiterflow is the right call
Stay when your team runs sourcing, sequences and business development from Recruiterflow every day. Consolidating those tools into one is its strength, and reviewers rate its support and onboarding highly. It also announced SOC 2 Type 1 and ISO 27001 certification in 2024. If cost is the issue, ask whether Platform without AIRA, or an annual term, would solve it.
How do you leave Recruiterflow cleanly?
Users with the right role can export candidates, contacts, companies and jobs to Excel from Advanced Search. Recruiterflow's help article does not mention notes, emails, files or activities in that export. Its privacy policy gives a right to data portability in JSON format, and a third-party review says data can be exported through the API. We could not find documentation of a full export with attachments, so ask support how to get one before you cancel. Read how to switch ATS without losing data.
Where Crumblelead fits
We built Crumblelead for perm-focused independent and small-to-mid agencies that want one fast workspace for the whole desk, with AI taking administration off recruiters while they keep the relationships and judgement. Recruiterflow is the better choice when outbound sequencing and AI agents drive your business. Browse all our comparisons for other options.
