Small agencies considering Vincere alternatives should compare Manatal, Zoho Recruit, Recruit CRM, JobAdder, Bullhorn and Crumblelead against the Vincere licence and Smart Pack they actually use. Switching makes sense when a replacement fits your desk at a cost and commitment you can sustain; staying is sensible when perm, temp and timesheets in one system, or a valued account manager, keep Vincere central to your work.
Vincere is a well-rated platform, scoring 4.5 on G2 and 4.8 on Capterra and GetApp, so looking elsewhere is rarely about quality. More often the trigger is fit: a perm-only team paying for capabilities it does not use, a renewal date approaching, or a wish for month-to-month terms. Our Crumblelead vs Vincere comparison covers the head-to-head.
Why do small agencies look at Vincere alternatives?
Commitment is the most common reason. Vincere's pricing FAQ sets a minimum 12-month term and says you are committed to your annual spend, with savings for two- or three-year terms. One Trustpilot reviewer reports that the contract renews unless you give three months' notice; that is a single user report, so check the notice period in your own agreement.
Pricing structure is the second. Since late 2025, AI features sit in Smart Packs charged per agency per month, on top of the per-user licence. Per user, that weighs more heavily on a two- or three-person team than on a larger one. Recent reviews also mention billing questions and slower support since the Access acquisition, alongside many reviews praising account managers. Treat those as questions for a renewal conversation, not settled facts about every account.
What does Vincere cost now?
According to an archived copy of Vincere's pricing page from April 2026, the CRM and ATS licence starts at £69 per user per month. Smart Packs start at £25 (Base), £139 (Present), £235 (Automate) and £349 (Elite) per agency per month. Support plans, advanced analytics, connectors and modules such as TimeTemp are priced separately, and the page notes that prices may vary. Our Vincere pricing guide works through a five-person example.
Six alternatives and the trade-offs
Prices checked 15 October 2026, per user per month; annual figures are monthly equivalents and exclude tax. This is a shortlist by use case, not a ranking.
| Alternative | Published entry price | Where it can be stronger for a small agency | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manatal | $15 annually; $19 monthly | Lowest subscription cost, monthly billing available | 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates on Professional |
| Zoho Recruit | $25 annually; $30 monthly | No forced contracts; free official MCP; EU data centres | AI on higher tiers; paid onboarding |
| Recruit CRM | $95 annually; $109 monthly | Timesheets and invoicing with highly rated support | Auto-renews for the same term; MCP from Business |
| JobAdder | Not published | SEEK integration, 200+ job boards, temp compliance | Annual contracts; no AI on the 1 to 5 user plan |
| Bullhorn | Starter $99; Core $165 | Full temp and contract back office, 300+ partners, SOC 2 | AI search and match from Pro, by quote |
| Crumblelead | $30 monthly; $25 annual equivalent | Linked perm desk with AI and MCP on every seat, monthly terms | Not for temp back offices; no SOC 2 yet |
Manatal if subscription cost is the main issue
Manatal's Professional plan costs $15 per user per month annually or $19 monthly, with a cap of 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates. Enterprise, at $35, removes the caps, and Enterprise Plus, at $55, adds MCP, the API and SSO. Its data is hosted in the US, which matters to some UK and EU agencies.
Zoho Recruit if you want flexible terms and structure
Zoho Recruit's Staffing Agency edition starts at $25 per recruiter per month annually or $30 monthly, with no forced contracts and a 45-day money-back guarantee. It offers EU data centres, 75+ job boards and an official MCP server at no extra cost. Expect a learning curve, and price Professional or Enterprise if you need its AI features. For what to weigh against Zoho Recruit itself, see Zoho Recruit alternatives for small agencies.
Recruit CRM if you place contractors and want strong support
Recruit CRM publishes Pro at $95 annually or $109 monthly, with timesheets and invoicing included and a support score of 5.0 on GetApp. Business, at $135 annually, adds MCP, the open API and Broadbean. Its terms auto-renew for the same term length and charges are non-refundable, so choose the billing period with care. Data is hosted in the US.
JobAdder if SEEK and job boards drive your business
JobAdder is strongest in Australia and New Zealand, with a native SEEK integration, multiposting to more than 200 job boards and temp compliance tooling. It does not publish prices, and its 1 to 5 user plan has no AI or API. See our Crumblelead vs JobAdder comparison for estimates and plan details.
Bullhorn if you are scaling a temp and contract operation
Bullhorn publishes Starter at $99 and Core at $165 per user per month, with free implementation on its small-agency plans. It covers front office, onboarding, pay and bill and VMS automation, and states SOC 2 Type 2 audits. Its AI search and match starts at Pro, which is priced by quote. See our Bullhorn pricing guide.
Crumblelead if your agency mainly runs perm desks
Our plan costs $30 per user per month, or $25 billed annually, with no seat minimum and cancellation without a fee. AI matching with evidence, Crumble AI and a built-in MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT are included on every seat, rather than in a separate pack. Migration from Vincere is free on any paid plan and typically takes about a week.
We are not the right alternative if you run temp payroll or timesheets, or need a vendor with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 today. We do not offer those yet.
When staying with Vincere is the right call
Stay when perm, temp and contract work all run through Vincere and timesheets come from the same vendor. Its UK and APAC presence, account managers and ease of use are real strengths. Its Smart Move scheme also lets you shift committed spend between licences and packs, which may fix a cost problem without moving.
How do you leave Vincere cleanly?
Check your renewal date and notice period first. Admins can export up to 5,000 records at a time to CSV, without CV files or emails. A full backup with SQL files and CVs is a chargeable service: submit a Professional Services Form, pay the quote and allow 10 business days. Request the quote early, and read how to switch ATS without losing data.
Where Crumblelead fits
We built Crumblelead for perm-focused independent and small-to-mid agencies that want one fast workspace for the whole desk, with AI taking administration off recruiters while they keep the relationships and judgement. Browse all our comparisons for other options.
FAQ
How much notice do I need to give Vincere?
It depends on your agreement. One reviewer reports a three-month notice period on a 12-month term that renews automatically. Check the renewal and notice clauses in your contract well before the end date.
How do I export more than 5,000 records from Vincere?
Each CSV export is capped at 5,000 records, so Vincere suggests splitting records into Talent Pools and exporting each one. For a complete copy with CVs, request its paid full backup.
Does Vincere connect to Claude or ChatGPT?
We found no official Vincere MCP server or Claude or ChatGPT connector as of 15 October 2026. Third-party connectors such as Nango need partner API access, which Vincere grants only under a formal agreement.
