Loxo Alternatives for Small Recruitment Agencies

By The Crumblelead Team·Published October 15, 2026·Last updated October 15, 2026

Small agencies considering Loxo alternatives should compare Recruit CRM, Manatal, Zoho Recruit, Bullhorn, Vincere and Crumblelead against the Loxo plan they actually use. Switching makes sense when a replacement fits your desk at a cost and commitment you can sustain; staying is sensible when Loxo's sourcing graph, contact data and AI agents are central to how you find candidates.

Loxo is a capable, well-rated platform, at 4.6 out of 5 on GetApp, so looking elsewhere is rarely about quality. More often the trigger is commercial: the move to annual plans paid up front, a renewal quote, or a perm desk paying for sourcing tools it rarely uses. Our Crumblelead vs Loxo comparison covers the head-to-head.

Why do small agencies look at Loxo alternatives?

Commitment is the most common reason. Loxo's pricing page now says "Annual plans, paid up front", and month-to-month billing, available until early 2026, has gone. Its terms provide for automatic renewal, non-refundable fees and fees that may change at renewal, and the $149 Core price is labelled a limited-time offer.

Reviewers also mention price and renewal increases, useful features gated to higher plans, a learning curve, and slower support outside US hours. Loxo's mobile app is iPhone-only, and the self-serve CSV export leaves out resumes and activity history. The same reviewers praise its search, automation and all-in-one design, so treat these as questions to raise at renewal, not settled facts about every account.

What does Loxo cost now?

Core starts at $149 per user per month, billed annually and paid up front. Professional, with the sourcing graph and AI agents, is quoted on request; the pricing page refers to $199. Enterprise is custom. Our Loxo pricing guide covers credits, migration and a five-person example.

Six alternatives and the trade-offs

Prices checked 15 October 2026, per user per month; annual figures are monthly equivalents and exclude tax. This is a shortlist by use case, not a ranking.

Recruit CRM if you want monthly billing with AI sourcing

Recruit CRM publishes Pro at $109 per user per month on monthly billing or $95 annually. Its credits fund AI sourcing and matching across more than 800 million profiles, enrichment and multiposting, which is the closest match here to Loxo's sourcing. MCP for Claude and ChatGPT starts at Business. Its support scores 5.0 on GetApp. See our Recruit CRM pricing guide.

Manatal if cost is the main issue

Manatal's Professional plan costs $15 per user per month annually or $19 monthly, with AI recommendations and scoring, a sourcing Chrome extension and enrichment on every plan. Professional is capped at 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates, so most agencies need Enterprise at $35. MCP is on Enterprise Plus at $55. Data is hosted in the US.

Zoho Recruit if you want flexible terms

Zoho Recruit's Staffing Agency edition starts at $25 per recruiter per month annually, with no forced contracts and a 45-day money-back guarantee. Its official MCP server, which reads and writes, is available at no extra cost. Price Professional or Enterprise if you need its AI features.

Bullhorn if you are scaling a staffing business

Bullhorn publishes Starter at $99 and Core at $165, with free implementation on its small-agency plans and SOC 2 Type 2 audits. Its AI search and Amplify agents start at Pro, by quote. See our Bullhorn pricing guide.

Vincere if you place perm and temp staff

Vincere starts at £69 per user per month plus an AI Smart Pack per agency, with timesheets through TimeTemp and a strong UK and APAC presence. Expect a 12-month minimum. See our Vincere pricing guide.

Crumblelead if your agency mainly runs perm desks

Our plan costs $30 per user per month, or $25 billed annually, with no seat minimum and cancellation without a fee. AI matching with evidence, Crumble AI and a built-in MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT are on every seat. Migration from Loxo is free on any paid plan and typically takes about a week.

We are not the right alternative if you source from a large people database or need contact data in your ATS. We do not offer those, and we do not have SOC 2 yet.

When staying with Loxo is the right call

Stay when your recruiters source from Loxo's graph and use its agents every day. Its roughly 180 MCP actions, multi-model AI chat, SOC 2 Type II and independent AI bias audit are real strengths. If the issue is cost, ask whether a different plan or credit level would fix it before moving the database.

How do you leave Loxo cleanly?

Loxo's terms say one full data backup is available by request at no cost, through support. Request it before your renewal date: Loxo's help centre says data is removed 30 days after non-renewal, and its data processing agreement says personal data is destroyed within 90 days of termination. Check that resumes and activity history arrived, since the self-serve CSV omits them. Read how to switch ATS without losing data.
